Tangy Shrimp Tacos

minutesStop eating boring tacos!!!! There are so many fun flavors to play with, especially when making Mexican food! This smoky, tangy marinade will definitely add a new twist to your tacos.
Ingredients
1 lb medium shrimp (peeled, tail removed, deveined)
8 flour tortillas (warm)
1 cup queso fresco, crumbled
1 cup salsa verde of choice
1 lime, cut into wedges
- Marinade
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp paprika
pinch cayenne pepper
salt and pepper
3 Tbsp AOOC Cilantro & Roasted Onion Olive Oil OR Chipotle Olive Oil
3 cloves garlic
- *Other Optional Garnishes:
½ cup cilantro
1 avocado sliced
1 jalapeno
pico de gallo
sour cream
Directions
- Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add shrimp and coat evenly. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of AOOC Cilantro & Roasted Onion Olive Oil OR Chipotle Olive Oil in pan over medium high heat.
- Add shrimp to pan in a single layer. Cook until turning slightly pink, 1-2 minutes. Flip and cook 1 more minute. Remove from heat.
- To assemble: place shrimp in a warm tortilla, top with salsa verde, crumbled queso fresco, and any additional toppings you like.
- Top with an extra drizzle of AOOC Key Lime or Pineapple Balsamic for a burst of flavor!
