Citrus “Ceviche”

Ingredients

  • 1 large grapefruit

  • 2 medium oranges

  • 2 large avocados (or 4 small ones), diced

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion

  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro

  • 1/2 medium jalapeno, seeded, finely chopped

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • AOOC Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil

  • AOOC Grapefruit Balsamic

Directions

  • Peel skin from grapefruit and oranges. Slice along the center lines to make 1/4 inch thick rounds and break into wedges
  • In a bowl, combine the citrus wedges, avocado, onion, cilantro, jalapeño and salt and pepper.
  • Gently toss to combine, adjusting to taste and adding more salt as necessary.
  • Top with drizzle of Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil and Grapefruit Balsamic.
  • Serve with tortilla chips!
