This homemade granola makes a great gluten and dairy free snack! The delicious combination of AOOC Sweet Valencia Orange Olive Oil and AOOC Peach Balsamic make the perfect topping for this tasty treat. 1 ½ cup chopped nuts (pecans, almonds, walnuts, etc.)
1 cup rolled oats (for Gluten Free recipe, use certified GF rolled oats)
½ cup Almond flour
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
1 ½ tbsp AOOC Sweet Valencia Orange Olive Oil
3 tbsp AOOC Peach White Balsamic
1 tbsp flaxseed or flaxseed meal (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300°F
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, adding the Sweet Valencia Orange Olive Oil and Peach Balsamic last.
- Cover a baking sheet (or any oven safe dish that you can spread the granola mixture over the bottom of it) with the Parchment paper.
- Spread the mixture out on the sheet, making little empty spaces here and there so granola will have some crispy clumps.
- Cook for 12 min, then remove and stir. Drizzle with Peach Balsamic and return to oven for 8 min.
- Remove from oven and stir again. Cook till granola is golden brown.
- Take out and let cool completely.
