EZPZ Tuscan Herb Alfredo

I don’t know about you, but chicken Alfredo is a staple meal in our household. It’s such an easy dinner to make and I always make enough for leftovers for lunches! Done in 10-15 minutes!

This EZPZ recipe is 100% customizable- you can replace the meat with your choice of veggies (broccoli, zucchini, etc.) to make it a meatless meal, use seafood, like shrimp, in place of the meat, or add things to it (I added sautéed mushroomed to mine today!). We will just give you the basic recipe we used below.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts (I used 1 extra large chicken breast in this recipe for 2 people; adjust according to amount serving)

  • Pasta, of your choice. ( I used angel hair this time)

  • Alfredo Sauce, of your choice (I used a 4 Cheese Blend)

  • AOOC Tuscan Herb Olive Oil. (You could also try- Milanese Gremolata, Garlic, Herbs de Provence, or any EVOO!)

  • Salt & Pepper, Seasonings of your choice (Basik’s Seasonings, garlic, herb seasonings, etc.)

  • *Optional add ins: Mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini, spinach, roasted red peppers, etc.)

Directions

  • Cut chicken breast(s) into cube sized pieces. Set aside. (Cut up any other veggies or add ins into bite sized pieces at this time as well)
  • Fill medium sized pot halfway with water. Bring lightly salted water to a boil and then add your pasta, cooking as directed.
  • While water boils/pasta cooks, bring medium sized pan to medium high heat.
  • *(This is when I added a drizzle of Tuscan Herb Olive Oil and cooked my mushrooms and other veggies.) (About 5 min or so)
  • Add a large drizzle of Tuscan Herb to pan then add chicken. Add salt, pepper, and other seasonings. Cook until lightly browned and cooked through. (5-7 min)
  • When pasta is done, strain water and return to pot (add a drizzle of Tuscan to pasta if desired!)
  • Once chicken and veggies are done, add to pasta along with your Alfredo sauce (I also included a splash of milk or water using the Alfredo jar to make a little creamier)
  • Mix together and serve, top with seasonings or fresh herbs as desired.
