Lemon Garlic Pasta

2 Tbsp AOOC Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil
4 garlic cloves, grated
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups half and half
zest 1 lemon
2 Tbsp AOOC Sicilian Lemon Balsamic
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp finely chopped parsley
salt and pepper
pasta, of your choice
Directions
- Cook pasta according to instructions.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 20 seconds or until fragrant.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute or until lightly golden, stirring constantly. Make sure not to burn.
- Gradually add in the half and half, stirring as you pour. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until thick, 1-2 minutes. If any lumps form, whisk them out.
- Whisk in balsamic and zest. Stir in parmesan cheese and parsley.
- Toss pasta in sauce, top with extra parmesan and serve.
