Lemon Garlic Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp AOOC Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil

  • 4 garlic cloves, grated

  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 2 cups half and half

  • zest 1 lemon

  • 2 Tbsp AOOC Sicilian Lemon Balsamic

  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped parsley

  • salt and pepper

  • pasta, of your choice

Directions

  • Cook pasta according to instructions.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 20 seconds or until fragrant.
  • Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute or until lightly golden, stirring constantly. Make sure not to burn.
  • Gradually add in the half and half, stirring as you pour. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until thick, 1-2 minutes. If any lumps form, whisk them out.
  • Whisk in balsamic and zest. Stir in parmesan cheese and parsley.
  • Toss pasta in sauce, top with extra parmesan and serve.
