Make Ahead Vegan Olive Oil Pie Crust

This is the full amount! Be sure to divide recipe in half for 2 crusts!

For Two 12

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup ice water
  • 3 Tbsp EVOO or Navel Orange Olive Oil

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl combine flour, salt, and baking powder. Make a divot in the center and add water/olive oil. Mix together with a fork or paddle attachment on an electric mixer.
  2. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth, not more than a minute. Divide the dough in half. Press each half into a circle 4″ in diameter. Dust with flour if the dough is sticky.
  3. Wrap each circle tightly in plastic, refrigerate for 15 minutes or up to three days and the dough can be frozen for up to a month!
  4. Remove dough, roll out to 12 inch shape using flour to keep it from sticking.
  5. Place into preferred baking pan and freeze or par bake right away!
