Smoky Grilled Salmon

6 Salmon Filets
5 Tbsp AOOC Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil
1 ½ Tbsp AOOC Traditional 18-Year Barrel-Aged Balsamic or Denissimo Balsamic
1 ½ Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp dijon mustard
2 tsp Basik’s Taco Seasoning Blend
Directions
- Combine olive oil, brown sugar, balsamic, lemon zest, dijon mustard, and Taco Blend in a bowl with a whisk.
- Reserve 1 Tbsp of the marinade for later use.
- Add salmon and marinade into a ziplock bag and shake to coat fish with marinade.
- Marinate in refrigerator for at least 1 hour or up to 8 hours.
- Preheat grill (or grill pan) over medium high heat. Coat grill in Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil.
- Add salmon filets and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side or until salmon is opaque throughout.
- Brush reserved marinade over salmon filets and serve.
