Ingredients

  • 6 Salmon Filets

  • 5 Tbsp AOOC Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil

  • 1 ½ Tbsp AOOC Traditional 18-Year Barrel-Aged Balsamic or Denissimo Balsamic

  • 1 ½ Tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • 1 tsp dijon mustard

  • 2 tsp Basik’s Taco Seasoning Blend

Directions

  • Combine olive oil, brown sugar, balsamic, lemon zest, dijon mustard, and Taco Blend in a bowl with a whisk.
  • Reserve 1 Tbsp of the marinade for later use.
  • Add salmon and marinade into a ziplock bag and shake to coat fish with marinade.
  • Marinate in refrigerator for at least 1 hour or up to 8 hours.
  • Preheat grill (or grill pan) over medium high heat. Coat grill in Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil.
  • Add salmon filets and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side or until salmon is opaque throughout.
  • Brush reserved marinade over salmon filets and serve.
